You must apply for your authority from the FMCSA allowing you to act as a freight broker, post a Surety Bond and file your BOC-3. Operating under our umbrella you do not need any of this.

5. What is the difference in being a Freight Broker or a Freight Broker Agent?
A freight broker assumes all legal and financial responsabilities for the movement of cargo. They have to met the requirements under FMCSA Guidelines, all legal requirements (Authority, Bond, BOC-3) to legally operates as a property broker in the United States.
A freight agent serves as an independent contractor for a freight brokerage but serves in the same capacity. Typically freight agents will receive a commission of the profit from every load. The agent in return does not assume any responsability for insurance, freight broker authority, claims or collections of freight bills.
6. Can I work from home?
